Regional Sales Manager

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager in the eastern USA to be part of the LEDiL, Inc. subsidiary.

As part of the US team, you will impact our customers’ success by proactively helping them identify the best optics for their luminaires and other products in the eastern US and eastern Canada. This position works from a home office in the eastern USA and will include travel to customer sites within the region.

The key responsibilities will be:

  • Grow revenue for standard and custom products in the assigned sales territory.
  • Identify and capture major project opportunities for LED optics at Lighting manufacturers through solution selling.
  • Manage distributor sales team within the assigned territory to maximize project pipeline through joint sales calls and providing training on LEDiL products.
  • Manage and prioritize projects within the region and maintain project funnel updates and customer reports as required by management.
  • Proactively engage with OEMs through onsite visits and from home office.
  • Foster great communication with customers and the LEDiL team to provide for the best possible service.

    As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing revenue of LEDiL optics to Lighting OEMs and other companies within the territory. You will use account development, project management, technical proficiency, and exceptional communication to earn customer specifications by understanding the customer applications and providing the best solution.

    We appreciate following skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; preferably a degree in business administration or engineering/technology.
  • 3 or more years of experience in sales or in customer-facing technical support, preferably in the lighting components industry.
  • Experience working directly with OEMs and distribution partners.
  • Experience in customer facing technical roles will also be considered as selling experience.
  • Strong communications skills at all levels within the customer’s organization.
  • Able to potentially travel up to 25-50% of the time with overnight travel to customer locations.
  • Strong computer skills including a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
