Plant Terasu horticultural lighting

Project

TRi TERASU Co., Ltd. set out to create a plant growth lighting solution that would enable indoor plant cultivation using light as close to natural sunlight as possible. By combining a full spectrum LED with LEDiL’s LINDA-10-W lens, the goal was to deliver uniform illumination over the optimal growing area.

The result is Plant Terasu, a slim, elegant luminaire that brings sunlight quality light indoors while fitting naturally into any interior.

Solution

To recreate the qualities of natural daylight, Plant Terasu combined sunlight spectrum LEDs with LEDiL’s LINDA-10-W optic – a combination that delivers the precise wavelengths and uniform illumination needed for healthy, balanced plant growth. LINDA-10-W provides light distribution control and directs the beam evenly across the entire growing area, preventing hotspots and ensuring consistent light where it matters.

Together, these elements enabled TRi TERASU to create a luminaire that is both elegant and discreet. At just 1.1 cm thick and remarkably lightweight, Plant Terasu integrates effortlessly into bookshelves, kitchen counters, narrow crevices, and desk setups. Its magnetic mounting system makes installation beautifully simple: place, click, and enjoy – no tools or complexity required. Whether used as a single bar or linked across a shelf, Plant Terasu fits seamlessly into any environment while providing precisely targeted illumination.
