Why do we process your personal data?
We may process your data for a number of reasons:

What kind of information do we collect about you?

- Or otherwise communicate with LEDiL
As a visitor, you do not have to submit any personal information in order to use the website. This website only collects personal information that is specifically and voluntarily provided by visitors. Such information may consist of, but is not limited to, your name, current job title, company address, email address and telephone number.
We may also collect other technical information from your devices and browsers to better understand our site visitors.
We may also store and maintain any content that you provide, including but not limited to postings on any social media applications and services that we may provide.
We do not seek sensitive information (e.g., data relating to race or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, criminal record, physical or mental health, or sexual orientation) from visitors. We will, where necessary, obtain your explicit consent to collect and use such information.
Our lawful basis for processing your data
It is in LEDiL’s legitimate business interest to keep its customers and other business contacts informed of our latest content, products and services and to manage and administer requests and purchases.
We process customer and business contact data and use direct marketing as part of this legitimate interest. It is necessary for us to use a variety of direct marketing channels and messages to ensure our contacts are kept informed, and wherever possible we make sure the messages we send are targeted and relevant.

Data processing partners
Any personal data we share with our data processing partners is shared only on the basis that the data will be used by the partner under a lawful basis of legitimate interest and according to the requirements of the GDPR. We specify this in our contracts with all our data processing partners.
Your rights over the information we hold
You can reasonably request access to the personal data we hold on you at any time, and we will provide that information free of charge within one month of your request at the latest.
You can request inaccurate or incomplete personal data held on you to be rectified or completed, or for your personal data to be suppressed or erased, and we will respond within one month of your request at the latest.
Your right to object
You have the right to opt out of our direct marketing at any point, and we will deal with your request immediately.
To protect data stored on our servers LEDiL regularly audits our system for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. While LEDiL implements the security measures detailed above, transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and therefore transmission via the internet is at your own risk.
LEDiL may store and process personal information in Finland or any other country including outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) in which LEDiL or its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities.
