Quality Manager

We are looking for an Quality Manager to join us at LEDiL headquarters in Salo, Finland starting as soon as possible..

In this role, you will be responsible for LEDiL QMS and processes including internal and external audits, manage supplier quality in close cooperation with the factories, and work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure our standards are met throughout the value chain. You will lead the quality team and play a key role in building and maintaining reliable, effective quality systems.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate continuous quality improvement initiatives across the organization and supply chain
  • Lead, support and develop the LEDiL Quality Team
  • Develop, maintain and update company Quality and Environmental Management System
  • Plan and execute internal and external audits, organizing 3rd party certification audits
  • Create, drive and maintain LEDiL quality strategy and improvement roadmap
  • Drive and support LEDiL quality process development, ensure processes are up to date
  • Drive product quality improvement
  • Coordinate and collaborate on product, supplier and customer quality development
  • Monitor and develop LEDiL Quality KPI reporting
  • Lead and manage supplier quality
  • Responsible for sustainability initiatives and coordinating the execution of the company’s sustainability initiatives
 

What do we expect from you?

  • M.Sc, B.Sc or other relevant education
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge/certification of Six Sigma and LEAN methodologies
  • Strong leadership skills to drive continuous improvement
  • Proactive and self driven with strong decision-making skills
  • Understanding of production quality assurance especially in plastic industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both Finnish and English
  • Leading a multicultural Quality team comes naturally to you
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Readiness to travel
