RUSSIAN RAILWAYS GETS SOME NEW ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING

“LEDiL offer a wide range of high quality optics that allow us to achieve significantly better light characteristics with a choice of almost any beams.”

Mikhail Chelnokov, Director (CEO) of SPECTRA-ZAVOD

PROJECT

Industrial street and architectural lighting company SPECTRA-ZAVOD, were recently entrusted with the task of illuminating the twelve floors of Russian Railways office in the historic centre of downtown Krasnoyarsk in Siberia, Russia. But with its windows, columns, balconies and arches, highlighting the architectural features of this iconic building would be no easy task. Being highly visible, both on Prospect Mira where it is located, and other points throughout the city, it was especially important to get the lighting right.

SOLUTION

SPECTRA-ZAVOD began searching our database for suitable optics to match their trademark ‘SPECTRA’ luminaires they would be using for the project. Eventually they chose three different optics from our extensive portfolio; STRADA-IP-2X6-DWC, HB-IP-2X6-W and HB-IP-2X6-M.

BENEFITS

With its distinctive architectural features and design the building was already a city landmark. With its new lighting solution it is now the most brightly lit, standing out proudly in its surroundings.
